Job Description 

Yoh IT has a contract to hire opening for a Business Analyst to join our customer in Secaucus, NJ.

Job Duties:

  • The Business Analyst has the responsibility of understanding business requirements and to design, develop and implement applications to meet the business requirements. The products/systems consist of custom internet-based web applications and related web services and data interfaces used to run the business of pharmaceutical clients.
  • Will be working in the early stages in project phase.
  • Capable of managing priorities across multiple projects in a fast paced environment.
  • Understand business requirements and design, develop and implement applications to meet the business requirements.
  • Discovers business process and workflow requirements to be supported by the product
  • Writes functional specifications, Use cases and related documentation for development staff to use in designing systems to meet those requirements
  • Reviews and provides feedback/corrections on Design Specifications or prototypes to the Technical Development team
 


Job Requirements 

  • 5 years of Business Analysis experience.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to fully grasp complex system architectures, including multiple inter-related databases and intricate business rule logic
  • Must have a technical background, have client server and web app experience.
  • Should have experience working with a large pharmaceutical client.
  • Extensive experience writing functional specifications and business requirement documentation.
  • Must have experience working with business users and communicating priorities into a system.
  • Must have extensive experience working with Microsoft Office tools such as Visio, Word
  • Experience working with a highly transactional database application (MSSQL Server 2000/2005) a plus.
  • Must have excellent understanding of client interaction.
  • Any exposure to medical education would be a great plus but not required.
  • Any healthcare or pharmaceutical information experience a super plus
