Job Description 

Yoh has a contract opening for a Software / Applications Engineer to join our customer, a CMMI Level 3 organization, in Palm Bay, FL.

 

Responsibilities include:


  • Full-cycle development of in-house, web-based application used to generate material cost estimates and supporting reports.
  • Design, develop, enhance and unit test new applications.
  • Application architecture and design.
  • Develop .NET applications using Visual Studio 2008.
  • Development of PL/SQL stored procedures, triggers, table creating, views and tuning
 


Job Requirements 

  • BS/MS Computer Science/ MIS
  • 5+ Experience in full cycle applications development using OO language and RDBMS.
  • Good understanding of OO architecture.
  • 5 + years Experience with .NET.(C# preferred)
  • 2+ years Oracle database experience (SQL and PL/SQL on Oracle preferred)
  • 2+ years ASP.NET experience
  • Ability to learn new technologies and execute tasks with minimal guidance.
  • Ability to be very detail oriented and interact with a wide range of individuals; ability to handle a heavy workload including the ability to multitask.
  • Good mathematics skills.

Other Preferred Skills:


  • 2+ years NHibernate (or comparable ORM) experience
  • 1+ years Telerik AJAX Control Suite experience
  • 1+ years experience with test-driven development
