The BOSS Group is partnering with a dynamic advertising agency in Central NJ to identify an Interactive Art Director for a long-term temporary / temp-to-hire position. This position is 100% interactive and requires an experienced professional capable of successfully leading the conceptualizing of web pages, emails, banners and related creative deliverables. Qualified candidates will come from an agency background and must possess experience with interactive agencies. Were searching for a hands-on professional who is passionate about design and creative problem solving and who is an expert in the interactive design space.

This position offers a pay rate of $35 to $40 per hour depending on experience.

Responsibilities:

• Develop and communicate effective and innovative creative concepts


• Balance strategic development with client business objectives


• Direct and delegate to project creative team and outside vendors and/or specialists


• Directly contribute to project design and development


• Work hands-on to create comps, storyboards, initial graphic concepts and final deliverables


• Provide quality assurance of all creative deliverables

Qualifications:

• 4 years of design and interactive experience


• Excellent design samples demonstrating comprehensive understanding of interactivity and designing for the Web


• Strong communication skills including ability to convey creative concepts to client and team


• Experience with strategic brainstorming, campaign development, and creative execution


• Ability to work on multiple projects simultaneously


• Strong sense of urgency and accountability with ability to think and respond quickly, maintaining attention to detail


• Skilled in the latest design tools, platforms, and versions of applicable software programs -- Mac OS, Photoshop and Illustrator


• Understanding of motion design and the strengths and limitations of Flash, Ajax, Flex, and other emerging platforms


• Motivation, decisiveness, organizational skills, efficiency and dedication
