Job Description

Our Customer in Allentown, PA needs a contract software engineer to assist in the development and test of 2G/3G firmware
 

 

Job involves development and debug of software module responsible for mobile phone metric collection and submission. 
Work closely with team on integration of 3rd party SW library. 
Work in structured development environment including ClearCase source control and controlled code changes. 
Work closely with other members of small SW development team to debug and solve issues. 
Cooperatively develop metric collection features with 2G/3G/4G protocol stack team

.

Job Requirements

2 years experience in the following

C/C++ embedded software development/debug experience  (mostly C).

Real-Time OS debug experience including debug tools (e.g. Lauterbach)

BSEE or BSCS
Knowledge of ARM processors would be nice
Any JTAG debugging experience would be good
