Admitting Rep.
This position is at a high profile hosptial in the city of San Bernardino. Duties inlude: Registers patients for services. Interviews and completes registration according to patient service, type, payer requirements and hospital policy. This level is categorized by to high volume (31-70 registrations per day) with typically one or two registration types. Staff moves about between the front admitting area and back of ED during the shift and there is relatively little time sitting down. Staff does not typically float to other areas for any length of time. Must have worked in a hospital setting for at least two years. Able to work various shifts/hours
Financial Counselor
This opportunity is at a high profile hospital in the city of San Bernardino. Duties include: Understanding insurance, Medicare, Medicaid and the various other forms of health coverage can be confusing. A health care financial counselor helps patients or the parties responsible for their finances to organize and coordinate their financial obligations. The health care financial counselor is involved with the patient from pre-admission, through their care, and during discharge, assisting the patient or their responsible party in creating and understanding a financial picture and developing solutions to meet their financial responsibilities. Must have worked in a hospital setting for two years. Able to work various shifts/hours.
