Business Unit Rexnord Aerospace is a growing and profitable company supplying engineered high performance bearings and mechanical seals to the commercial air transport, regional aircraft, business aircraft, helicopter and military aircraft markets for use in engine systems, flight control systems, airframe structures and landing gear systems. Brief Description This position works for Design Engineering department and assists in conducting all testing, research and development activities related to PSI products. Generates and maintains test schedules and test reports and assists in designing fixtures for test machines as needed to support all PSI R&D and testing activities. This position is located in Simi Valley, California.
Key Accountabilities - Assist in all research and development activities related to PSI products
- Assist with the design and fabrication of lab related test fixtures
- Work at the PSI test lab and on other lab related equipment and activities
- Set-up and monitor all engineering testing activities
- Generate test reports
- Support Continuous Improvement and Kaizen activities
