Term: 3 Months
Title of Opening: Wireless Engineers
Pay Rate: $50/hr
Hours: Monday-Friday-8:00AM-5:00PM
Summary: We are seeking 3 Wireless Engineers to work a multiple site Wireless upgrade and implementation located in and around Dallas TX over the next 3 months. The people chosen will have to travel in and around a 40 mile radius of downtown Dallas TX. This is working multiple projects and some of the responsibilities are as follows:
• Design and Implement new wired and wireless network for customer.
• Physical Connectivity
• Spanning-Tree
• IP Addressing
• VLAN Schema
• Network Mgmt requirements
• Sec requirements
• LAN - 72 Cisco 2960S Switches
• WLAN - 169 Cisco 3602i wireless access pointsUPS units - 19 APC 1500VA UPS units
• Upgrade Prime NCS and Mobility Services Engine
• Consolidate core 6500 switching onto 6509 VSS
• Install and configure 1,498 Cisco 2602i wireless access points
Requirements:
• Must be willing to take a drug and background check upon an offer being made.
• MUST BE A US CITIZEN OR GREEN CARD HOLDER!
• 5-8+ years experience working in the IT Field
• Solid Cisco router and switch background are required.
• Solid installation of Access Points background are required.
• Any Nexus administration background is a plus
• Must be a team player and have excellent communications skills.
