Washington Beef is Agri Beef Co.'s state of the art processing plant, located in Toppenish, Washington. Washington Beef produces over 200 million pounds of boxed beef annually, as well as a variety of by-products including: hides for leather, tallow for bio-fuel production, meat and bone meal for organic fertilizers, pet foods and poultry feed, as well as dried blood for organic fertilizers and fish feed. Washington Beef, LLC is currently seeking to fill the following positions at our production facility in Toppenish, WA. Waste Water Lead The Waste Water Lead will cultivate and support a TEAM environment within the Waste Water group. Responsibilities for this position include all the activities related to the Waste Water Treatment Plant Operation and System. This person must have the ability to operate and control the actions of equipment and processes requiring complex and/or rapid adjustments. This person will be responsible in calculating and summarizing data and information. This includes performing subsequent actions in relation to these computational operations in conjunction with trend data. The Waste Water Lead will oversee the day-to-day operations of the wastewater system and report all pertinent information professionally and clearly to the Wastewater Manager on a daily basis. If the Manager is off-site, provide a written summary via email. It is the culture of our organization to put special emphasis to employee safety, employee well-being, the quality and presentation of our products, effective communications with our employees and the rest of the management team, adherence to our guiding principles, and in more general terms the pursuit of our ISO and operational goals. Thorough knowledge of a Waste Water Treatment facility using screening, dissolved air floatation, anaerobic lagoons, aerobic treatment (preferably SBR experience), UV and liquid chlorine disinfection, and solids dewatering (preferably screw press experience). Must be able to climb and work from stairs or ladder with occasional bending, crouching and crawling to complete assigned tasks. Group 3 certification and Water Distribution Manager (WBM1) or WBM2 certification. This person must have a minimum of five (5) years Waste Water Treatment System experience. This person must have excellent written and verbal communication skills. Knowledge of Microsoft Office and basic computer skills preferred. This person must also have excellent organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple priorities daily. High school Diploma required.
