 Description  Cook - Per Diem 

Prepares foods including modified textures for restricted and therapeutic diets. Maintains and follows all meal schedules. Assures all food items are handled appropriately to ensure safety, health and sanitary standards according to state and federal regulations. Properly stores, covers and refrigerates food items. Insures that foods are cooked to appropriate temperatures according to the latest FDA food code.

Dietary Assistants - Per Diem

Helps prepare and deliver hot and cold food and beverages. Prepares trays with proper and accurate food items as well as snacks. Keeps food preparation areas clean and sanitized as well as dishes and trays.
 Requirements

 

  • Must have experience, preferably in a skilled nursing facility, senior care center or hospital.
  • ServSafe certification is required for cooks. 
  • Must have very good customer service skills.
