Job Description:
Performs project management responsibilities relating to information technology implementations, upgrades, conversion and recovery. Responsible for managing a specific initiative or portion of a larger project. Typically focuses on completing subtasks or smaller projects that support larger initiatives. Responsible for meeting project deadlines and producing deliverables. Manages to timelines and communicates project status and has matrix management responsibility. Adjusts work assignments and plans based on shifting resources and priorities.
Impact: Projects typically affect the outcome or timeliness of larger projects and may significantly affect the ability of a business unit or support function to operate effectively. Typically requires 5+ years of applicable experience.

Skills / Qualifications:
• 5 - 7 years of Technology Project Management
• Is inquisitive and eager to learn new skills, responsibilities, techniques, technology/tools
• Ability to recognize problem situations and escalate to the appropriate level when needed
• Must be able to effectively communicate problem status to senior management
• Must be able to translate plans/policies into specific goals, tactics, action plans and deliverables
• Plans, prepares for, and effectively facilitates team meetings and presentations
• Applies all aspects of program/project management: resource planning, work breakdown, risk/issue management, financial management, implementation planning, testing, training and communication.
