J. Morrissey is actively recruiting for EXPERIENCED Medical Assistants / Certified Medical Assistants
YOU MUST HAVE EXPERIENCE AS A MEDICAL ASSISTANT
TEMPORARY and TEMP-TO-HIRE assignments available throughout Central and Western MA
(Springfield, Westfield, Chicopee, Holyoke, Northampton, Deerfield, Greenfield and MORE)
CLINICAL SETTINGS for MEDICAL ASSISTANTS INCLUDE:
Hospitals, Community Health Centers, Doctor's Offices and various Medical Practices, VNA/Hospice, Substance Abuse Clinics, Mental Health/Counseling Centers
RESPONSIBILITIES INCLUDE:
Phlebotomy and Injections
Vitals and Patient Set up
EKGs
Patient Records, Filing, Documentation
Electronic Medical Records
Scheduling, Reception Duties
Positions are typically Mon - Fri between 8am - 5pm. Many sites have one late evening per week.
MEDICAL ASSISTANTS REQUIREMENTS
Degree/Graduation from accredited Medical Assistant training program
State Certification
Current CPR certification
Minimum of 6 months clinical experience beyond EXTERNSHIP
Unique externship settings and other experience considered
Excellent communication skills and patient interaction skills required

Comfort with administering injections and utilizing phlebotomy skills A SIGNIFICANT PLUS!!
Other specific requirements may be necessary to meet the requests of our individual clients
Such as Drug Screen, TB Status (PPD), Hep B Series or waiver, other Titers
Background check will be conducted on all workers prior to assignment
Pay rates subject to level of experience and client parameters
