Mainframe Operations Support Analyst w/TWS Experience

Description We are recruiting for a Mainframe Operations Support Analyst, which is a full-time employee opportunity.  This job is located in our National Technology Center in Boca Raton, Florida.  Candidates must have thorough knowledge of MVS, JCL and Utilities, and Tivoli Work Scheduler (TWS), or OPCE.  This position interfaces with all departments on Systems Architecture and Design to investigate production problems and provide technical support for problem analysis and resolution.

Essential Job Functions:

• Develop and maintain Production Automation.
• Analyze and develop procedures for the transfer of Operation's software from the mainframe to the personal computer.
• Diagnose and resolve abnormal program and system conditions, tracking to resolution.
• Direct operational documentation as it applies to automation.
• Technical enhancement of Tivoli Work Scheduler TWS or OPCE.
• Direct changes of JCL & PROC's as required to resolve problems.
• Work closely with Operations on changes and enhancements.

 

Compensation:  Our competitive compensation plan offers a base salary of $40,000 plus annual bonus earning potential targeted at 15% of base salary, up to 22.5% of base salary.

Requirements

• 6+ years of data processing experience.
• Thorough knowledge of MVS, JCL and Utilities.
• Thorough Knowledge of Tivoli Work Scheduler TWS, or OPCE.
• Ability to interface with all levels of management and department personnel.
• Initiative, persistence and excellent analytical skills.
• High School diploma or equivalent.
• This position is located in Boca Raton, Florida.  Candidates must live in or near the local area or be willing to relocate at their own expense.
