Electrical Engineer

Description

 

We are seeking professionals who are looking to advance in their career and  work in a team environment. The ideal candidate will provide onsite support for a client in Washington DC. Responsibilities will include but not be limited to: 

  • Implementation of power, lighting, life safety, communications, controls, RF shielding, fire detection and security systems. This work relates to new and existing installations and includes limited work  with mechanical, plumbing and fire protection systems. This position includes a high degree of

  • Routine performance of physical site reviews to determine work progress and quality

  • Review of energy conservation and building improvement project plans and drawings and provide technical analysis and feedback for improvement and functionality.

  • Responsibilities include the design of complex integrated electrical systems

 

Minimum Qualifications:

 

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Electrical Engineering
  • PE certification
  • A working knowledge of the National Electrical Code (NEC)
  • Knowledge in electrical/power systems (power systems design, high voltage cabling, lighting systems, and construction electrical engineering industry)

 

 

 


Job Requirements 

  • 10+ Years related Engineering Experience

  • Professional Engineer in Virginia, Maryland, and District of Columbia

  • Security Clearance preferred, ability to obtain security clearance mandatory

  • LEED AP
