Our Team of Wuesthoff Rehabilitation Professionals help our patients to regain their freedom from pain and immobility due to an illness, injury or surgery. Wuesthoff's inpatient and outpatient Team of Rehabilitation Professionals provide the highest quality of care to prevent injuries, relieve pain, and restore optimal movement and function following surgery, illness or injury. Our Team of Experienced Rehabilitation Professionals provide patient education, along with physical, occupational, speech, and massage therapy.
Position Summary:
Ensures smooth clinical operation of Wuesthoff Rehabilitation Network to provide quality patient care. Supervises program coordinators and their employees in the performance of their duties.
Job Specific Duties:
- Reviews and maintains monthly variance reports.
- Prepares for monthly budget variance meetings. Able to justify/explain variances.
- Maintains department resources to attain customer satisfaction.
- Prepares annual budget in a timely manner, before deadline.
- Participates and recommends capital budget for department.
- Maintains departmental expenses within budgeted guidelines.
- Follows rules and regulations as disseminated.
- Ensures all staff ere educated to follow rules/regulations
- Makes changes in a timely and efficient manner
- Monitors quality assurance studies and prepares quality assurance plan.
- Customer is called or addressed within 24 hrs of the complaint
- All efforts are made to make the customer happy
- Ensures all staff follow the same customer service standard
- Takes responsibility for all departments and customer complaints
- Treats all staff equally and consistently
- Follows Wuesthoff Health Systems Policy and Procedures
- Maintains job descriptions and performance appraisals are up to date and completed at deadlines.
- Documents disciplinary procedures appropriately
- Continually encourages the WAVE initiative with staff through department meetings
- Reviews Press Cane information with staff
- Treats internal and external customers
- Provides care in consideration of the growth, development, and social needs of the neonatal, pediatric, adolescent, adult and geriatric patients.
- Ensures staff have Growth ,& development Competency
- Ensures departments meet the needs of populations served
- Interacts with managers with respect and returns information in a timely manner
- Resolves patient complaints with teamwork
- Resolves conflict with respect and in a timely manner
