Make an Impact as an Area Manager!

 

Area managers enjoy traveling between Kiosk locations that they support while also evaluating all operating aspects of the Kiosk program in their dedicated territory. You will work closely with the Regional Managers to get all of the feedback and information that you will need in order for you and your stores to be successful. Working with a product that you and your employees can be proud of, and for a company where empowerment is encouraged, will make your new position as an Area Manager a rewarding one.

 

We are seeking a Area Manager for the Houston area to manage a base kiosk/retail location and supervise other Store Managers within the district. Our mission to become the world’s leading language-learning company gives our employees the opportunity to help the world communicate by creating and delivering a product to our customers unlike any other.

 

 

Key Job Duties:

  • Well versed with the training manual and capable of assisting the District Manager in hiring and training new employees within Area kiosks
  • Reviews sales goals and expectations weekly with all members of the Area kiosk team
  • Must be reachable at any time in the event that a member of the Area kiosk team is unable to fulfill his/her scheduled hours
  • Available to answer questions for other members of the Area kiosk team
  • Sets base kiosk/retail location schedule at least two weeks in advance
  • Assures that Area kiosk schedules are completed at least two weeks in advance
  • Fills in, as necessary, for all hours unaccounted for by other members of the Area kiosk team
  • Assures that adequate cash is present in the cash drawer/box at all times
  • Assures that cash sales are deposited within 24 -48 hours of sale
  • Assures that weekly inventory counts are correctly completed
  • Assures that supply requests are completed as necessary
  • Responsible for maintaining proper inventory levels
  • Verifies and approves all daily sales envelopes at base kiosk and sends them to Kiosk Operations
  • Assures that all daily sales envelopes at Area kiosks are verified, approved and sent back to Kiosk Operations
  • Required to visit each Area kiosk location weekly, or as necessary
  • Required to “attend' a weekly conference call with District Manager
  • Other duties as assigned

 

 
  
 
 
 


job Requirements

 

Minimum Job Requirements:

  • At least two years of Sales Management Experience as well as oversight experience within a retail environment
  • Ability to acquire and maintain an Airport Security badge as necessary
  • Ability to lift boxes, up to 20 pounds in weight
  • Ability to open and close the kiosk, which may include climbing and stretching
  • Ability to stock kiosk, which may include bending and moving up and down often
  • College degree preferred
