Job Description

Sava Senior Care Administrative Services, LLC is a family of over 185 long term care facilities in 19 states. Our facilities offer a broad range of clinical services including skilled nursing, rehabilitation and Alzheimer's care. We are currently looking to fill a Dietary Manager position at our Woodwind Lakes long term care facility in Houston, TX.

 

This position will be responsible for planning, organizing, developing, and directing the overall operation of the Dietary Department in accordance with current federal, state, and local regulations and company policies and procedures to insure that quality food service and nutritional care is provided for each resident at all times.

Job Requirements

·High school diploma or equivalent.
·Successful completion of a course approved by the Dietary Manager’s Association (or possess a minimum of individual state regulation requirements for a Dietary Manager position).
·One (1) year food service supervisory experience in a health care setting focusing on food management, diet therapy, and cost control preferred.
·May be filled by a Registered Dietitian or Dietetic Technician.
·Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure and weight, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals.
