Description Physician Assistant hospitalist job opening with a growing hospitalist group in Spartanburg, South Carolina.

 Job Description:
  • Examines and treats patients in the hospital, able to work independently and in autonomous collaboration with other health care professionals. 
  • Ensures proper illness and injury care and disease prevention, diagnosis, treatment, and recovery. Familiar with a variety of the field's concepts, practices, and procedures. 
  • Manage approximately 15-18 patients per shift
  • Works in ICU, CCU, and Med Surg Floors
  • Handle all admissions, follow up care and discharges.
  • Performs a variety of tasks to ensure excellent healthcare to their patients. 
  • Full-time, permanent opening, Schedule is 14 days out the month; 4-12 hour shifts on and 4- 12 hour shifts off, 7a – 7p.
Requirements
  • Inpatient Hospital experience
  • Physician Assistant degree from an accredited program
  • South Carolina PA license active and in good standing
