We are currently hiring Collection Agents in our AllianceOne Eagan, MN location.

Responsibilities

Contact delinquent customers of our clientele to obtain payment commitments and bring resolution to unpaid accounts

Communicate with individuals by phone and written correspondence

Negotiate and recommend action on accounts based on information gathering

Obtain confidential information while accurately updating computer files with each call

Demonstrate effective skip tracing techniques through programs and policies implemented by AllianceOne
Successful Agents should have the ability to:
- Communicate effectively and efficiently at a level that is understood by all
- Create, support and participate in a positive and innovative atmosphere which encourages people to commit themselves to the task at hand and when necessary go beyond the call of duty to achieve key objectives
- Smooth relationships when difficult circumstances prevail and develop a culture of trust both within and outside the team
- Remain self-controlled and prepared to listen to what others think and feel
- Adhere to high specifications in order to maintain and improve quality
- Gather facts and figures and achieve goals in a timely and factual manner
- Counsel, negotiate and advise others providing them with logical, precise and factual information in a structured manner
- Be a friendly communicator who is confident, enthusiastic, and approachable
- Demonstrate diplomacy and work within clearly defined parameters
- Be persistent to see the job through to conclusion
Hours
We offer a set weekly schedule including the following types of hours:
- M-F three shifts from 8-5
- M-H two shifts from 12-9
- Minimum of two Saturdays per month from 8-12
