We are seeking a qualified professional Field Technician II based in Kentucky.

Summary:

The Field Technician II is responsible for the accomplishment of daily tasks as assigned by the Lead Technician.

Essential Duties & Responsibilities:

·         Provide manual labor.

·         Installation of cellular or electronic equipment adherent to customer specifications.

·         Testing and optimization of cellular or electronic equipment.

·         Test and turn up of T1 circuits.

·         Demonstrate proficiency in the use of various test equipment if asked.

·         Follows detailed procedures when performing tasks while maintaining quality.

·         Use of power tools during installation processes.

·         Must be proficient in reading a road map in order to drive to customer locations.

·         Responsible for maintaining test-equipment, phones, tools and assigned vehicle.

·         Provide accurate time card and work log to supervisor at the end of each week.

·         Other duties as assigned.

Education and/or Experience:

·         High school diploma or GED required, two year technical degree strongly preferred.

·         3+ years telecommunications installation experience / or equivalent industry experience required.

·         A minimum of 1 year performing cell-site testing is desired. 

·         RF experience is also desired.

·         Must be computer literate; knowledge of Microsoft Office, E-mail.

·         Must be able to use hand & power tools, and basic test equipment.
