Description Local manufacturing company is seeking an experienced Planner.

Requirements

  • College degree in Business or related field or equivalent combination of experience and education.

  • APICS certification preferred.
  • Strong computer, MS Excel, AS400, working knowledge of Shop Floor Control and Oracle.
  • Ability to read blueprints and specifications.
  • The person controls and manages millions of dollars of inventory and shipments by proper scheduling and analyzing of products as derived from market forecasts, customer orders and trend analysis and imputs these requirements into planning system.
  • The position entails developing weekly production requirements, scheduling of sales orders, interfacing with customer service, sales professionals, purchasing, engineering and manufacturing to meet customer expectations.
