Qualifications:
4 year degree from accredited university in Mechanical Engineering.
Ability to obtain unescorted access to nuclear facilities.
Demonstrated ability to effectively design, develop, and implement nuclear engineering change packages.
Working knowledge of nuclear station systems, processes, and procedures.
Demonstrated effective written communications including technical writing skills.
Demonstrated effective interpersonal skills and communication skills.
Demonstrated computer skills in Microsoft Office products.
Demonstrated organizational/planning skills with ability to set work priorities.
Demonstrated ability to work in a team setting and work within established organizational and work execution rules and processes.
Demonstrated problem solving and analysis skills, including thermodynamics, fluid flow, and heat transfer.
Professional engineering license
Nuclear station on-site experience.
Previous experience in performing 10 CFR 50.59 evaluations
Experience with Main Generator/Turbine upgrades, Measurement Uncertainty Recapture, or other power up-rate projects.
Experience in performing thermal hydraulic performance analysis for secondary balance of plant.
