EXPRESS CHARGES NO FEES TO APPLICANTS/CANDIDATES

Two immediate openings with a major Birmingham Hospital System!
   Responsible for billing, monitoring, and follow-up of all govenment funded accounts in an effective manner to ensure proper and timely reimbursement.  Resolves account liability by researching, analyzing and appplying necessary asjustments.  Understands governement regulations as they relate to governement billing practices and follows federal mandated policies.
   Min 6 mos experience with Medicare collecting/billing - MUST BE HOSPITAL BASED EXPERIENCE; CPAR certification a plus.  Ability  to analyze and determine patient/insurance liability. Knowledge of ICD-9, HCPCS, and CPT coding and medical terminolog along with knowledge of state and federal regulations.  Excel, Outlook, MedeFinance, CCSM, PES, and HDX required.
   Must pass criminal and credit screening.
   Starting pay range: $12.85-14.38 depending on experience.
