Description
**Are you a Special Education Consultant or Assistive Technology Practitioner with an entrepreneurial drive for promoting assistive devices in the classroom??
**Are you a motivated, tech-savvy, Speech-Language Pathologist, Occupational Therapist, Rehabilitation Engineer, or even a graduate student who wants to increase your earnings through high percentage sales commissions??
**Do you want to sell amongst the prestige of an award-winning, interactive technology reseller, while improving the classroom curriculum of students with significant disabilities??
We are currently recruiting Independent Contract Sales Representatives to deliver high-energy, impactful presentations to school administrators throughout a large territory. The successful representative will vigorously promote and present our new and innovative assistive technology, the Touch Accessible Platform for Integrated Technology (TAP-it).
The TAP-it features a touch sensitive, SMART Notebook software enabled, interactive LCD panel – the only workstation of its kind – with capabilities to tilt and adjust at multiple angles. These adjustments make the stationary, wall-mounted, interactive whiteboard accessible to students with significant physical and/or learning disabilities. The TAP-it allows for annotation and touch stimulation for those students confined to wheelchairs, hospital beds, or using other assistive devices, promoting increasing classroom independence. Teachers will also appreciate the user-friendly features of this ADA compliant interactive learning station.
We are looking to contract with reps that exhibit a passion for assistive technology and can easily communicate with school administrators. The ideal sales representative will have the natural ability to “wow" a room, while lending their device expertise. This highly visible role presents a great opportunity to contribute to a vital piece of the Special Education classroom. Become a part of our continued commitment to the 21st Century Classroom and take assistive technology another giant step forward!
Candidates will be required to have:
-
A Bachelor’s Degree or higher in Speech-Language Pathology, Occupational Therapy, Special Education, or related field
- A valid driver’s license with the ability to travel using a personal vehicle
- A high-functioning laptop with access to internet/email
- An advanced level of technical skills with previous experience using assistive, augmentative or alternative technologies
- A desire to earn substantial commission income thru assistive technology sales to K-12 market
- A minimum of 3 years polished presentation, facilitation and/or consulting experience
- Ability to occasionally travel overnight, unaccompanied and unassisted, to complete school visits and presentations
- Ability to transport and lift presentation equipment (up to 40 lbs), bend, stoop, and reach with arms and hands
