Job Description
MAJOR FUNCTION: The purpose of this position is to sell cable television, digital telephone, and road runner broadband services in-person to potential subscribers and to sell upgrade services to existing subscribers.RESPONSIBILITIES:
  • Canvasses assigned sales territory and solicit orders for new or upgraded services
  • Completes customer orders and weekly sales activity reports
  • Attends all sales training and department meetings
  • Installs, explains, and educates customers in upgrade situationsREQUIREMENTS: High School diploma or equivalent is required. Previous sales or customers service experience is preferred. Demonstrate above average presentation skills, good interpersonal communications, strong customer focus and empathy. Experience where persistence and resilience has been demonstrated. Demonstrate the ability to focus on achieving goals primarily through self management, self discipline, and flexibility. Valid drivers license and clean driving records. Ability to lift 25 pounds and stand/walk 90% of work shift.Competitive earnings of base pay plus commission and paid training ($576.00 per week for the first 6 weeks).EOE
