Job Description

Pharmacy Technicians

 

National mail order pharmacy has several immediate openings for

Experienced Texas Certified Pharmacy Technicians.

 

Position requires utilization of various computer systems and softwares. Accurately read, interpret, and follow information given by  associates, patients, physicians, and facility.  Understand and comply with company procedures for third party transactions, following all state specific guidelines and troubleshoot third party discrepancies and other prescription filling issues. Answer phones and provide customers with outstanding service at all times. Will assist and ensure all prescriptions are filled accurately, efficiently and safely.

Job Requirements

* Must be Certified Pharmacy Technician.
* Requires current Texas certifications.
* Excellent Customer Service Skills
* Ability to work independently and efficiently
* Knowledge of drug names - generic and trade
* Must have clean criminal background
* Must be able to pass a drug screening

* Requires solid work history
* At least 2 years experience

* Ability to work Saturdays

* Good working knowledge of pharmacy procedures and terminology as well as order entry.
