Surgical Recovery Technicians(Per Diem)

OneLegacy, the non-profit organ and tissue recovery organization serving the seven-county greater Los Angeles area, has immediate career opportunities for several Per Diem Surgical Recovery Technicians to work from one of OneLegacy Tissue Operations Recovery Facilities located in Bakersfield, LA Wilshire, Redlands, and Santa Ana.

Position Description: The Per Diem Surgical Recovery Technician (SRT) is responsible for all aspects of tissue recovery arrangement and performing recovery of eye tissue at hospitals, coroner facilities, and funeral homes. Additionally, this position will act as a vital member of the recovery team in a position of excising technician or back-table technician for the aseptic surgical recovery of all tissues and perform laboratory and office duties.

Qualifications: Highly qualified candidates must possess Bachelor’s degree (BS) from an accredited four-year college or university, completion of Surgical Technologist or EMT program, and/or training in an affiliated health or mortuary sciences field with a minimum of two years recovery experience in the Tissue recovery industry. CEBT and CTBS certification are required. A current state driver’s license, auto insurance based on state minimal insurance coverage standards and reliable automotive transportation is required. Candidates must also be able to successfully pass the OneLegacy background screening process.OneLegacy offers a competitive salary and an excellent benefits package.
