QA / QC Manager – QA / QC Supervisor - QA Supervisor / Manager
CANDIDATES MUST HAVE A MINIMUM OF 5 YEARS SUPERVISORY EXPERIENCE
CANDIDATES MUST COME FROM A PHARMACEUTICAL ENVIRONMENT
Provides day-to-day supervision of quality technicians and of the quality laboratory operations. Reports to QA Director and oversees the testing of products and ingredients to ensure they meet specifications. Ensures that necessary adjustments are made to product batches and other processes when out of normal operating conditions are experienced. Ensures that quality records are complete and maintained according to company standards. Identifies and implements process improvement opportunities.
Oversee the day to day activities of the QA department.
Prepares documents to send to outside centers, regulatory agencies, and for internal use.
Changes, distributes all documents, SOP’s, etc. and maintains records of documents.
Organizes and updates files in compliance with cGMP and GLP.
Reviews QC records to ensure accuracy and completeness and releases bulk peptide batches.
Schedule meetings, answer phone inquiries, distribute documents.
Technical assistance on all production & quality systems documents.
Distribute current revisions of all documents, including batch records.
Pharmaceutical Industry Experience
Must have minimum of 5 years prior supervisory experience
Good understanding of GMP’s
Quality Assurance Experience
Very good writing experience
Batch records / batch review
Laboratory experience is a must
Strong Organization skills
Must have the desire to work for a small company. (wear many hats – very hands on)
Must have GMP pharmaceutical industry experience
Must be a good writer – this is a small (but growing) pharmaceutical company so you will not have a support staff. Excellent growth opportunity.
Good writing and organizational skills
MS Degree preferred but would consider a stellar candidate with BS degree.
This is a full time (PERM) position with full benefits.
