Description
Sales Manager
We are seeking a self-motivated, organized and goal-oriented person to aggressively sell our construction hoist to new and existing customers. Beta Max Hoist sells directly to end users as well as through a national dealer base. We manufacture and sell rack & pinion hoist, both permanent and temporary construction hoist, as well as a complete line of portable wire rope hoists. We have been in a equipment supplier to the industry since 1985.
Responsibilities:
- Maintaining and growing customer base through effective sales strategies.
- Interacting with customers, prospects, and internal staff via phone and email on products and services.
- Completing administrative duties such as preparing proposals and quotes, scheduling sales calls and developing sales reports.
- Some travel required to present proposals and demonstrate products at customer location.
Requirements
· Ability to communicate effectively, both orally and in writing.

· Ability to analyze and solve problems.
· Ability to gather data, analyzes information, and prepares reports.
· Ability to identify and/or follow up sales leads and referrals.

· Scheduling of phone-based appointments to share in-depth product information.
Use net/live meetings to educate customers on products;
Represents Beta Max Hoists within the industry and territory by developing and maintaining comprehensive knowledge of products and industry trends through various sources and initiatives; participating in related professional organizations; preparing grammatically correct and articulate written communication (for example, e-mail correspondence); developing professional and positive relationships with customers, colleagues; and maintaining a reputation of competence, integrity and professionalism.
Contributes to sales planning and forecasting by working with Management Team to develop sales goals and action plans that support company goals and objectives; prioritizing and carrying out work activities; documenting activity and results in company databases, estimating and updating revenue probability and providing updates to Management Team.
OTHER DUTIES
Collaborates with colleagues to exchange information such as selling strategies and marketing information. Works with other Sales Managers to address territory or account conflicts in a professional manner. Keeps Management Team informed of activities and progress by telephone, in written form, e-mail, or in person and in accordance with timing and content standards. Manages time and company resources appropriately and documents both according to standards. Performs other duties as requested by team. Compiling information into regular reports as requested.
Requirements
Education Minimum:
Bachelor’s Degree and 5 years inside B2B business development experience. OR, if no degree, 8 years inside B2B business development experience . Must have experience in selling construction or manufacturered related products to a dealer organization or direct to end users,
