Ultra Electronics, Prologic is currently seeking well-qualified candidates for the position of Systems Enginieer in Fairmnot, WV. The systems engineer will use UML system software models to perform validation or verification of system software requirements and test design at various levels of definition, and perform verification of the software design and implementation using products generated from the modeling and validation activities as required in support of the various NASA development projects. Responsibilities include:
Modeling: development of the System Reference Model (SRM)
-Developing Use Cases and various UML diagrams (e.g., Class Diagrams, Activity Diagrams, Sequence Diagrams, Communication Diagrams, Statecharts, etc.) that represent the behaviors and behavioral constraints of the system.
Validation and Verification
-Validating system and software requirements and testing
-Verifying Software Architecture and interface design
-Verifying Safety and Dependability Implementation
-Supporting Project Milestone/Technical reviews (e.g., SRRs, PDRs, CDRs, TRRs)
-Developing Technical Reports and Trip Reportsystems engineer shall use UML system software models using to perform validation or verification of system software requirements and test design at various levels of definition, and perform verification of the software design and implementation using products generated from the modeling and validation activities as required in support of the various NASA development projects. Required:
-B.S. or M.S. Degree in Electrical Engineering, Aerospace Engineering, Software Engineering, Computer Science, or related field.
-4+ years experience in the following disciplines and tools: Software Development Lifecycle, Programming and Validation and Verification of software systems requirements, design, code, and test artifacts.
-Must be a US citizen.
-Must be able to obtain a secret security clearance.
Preferred:
Knowledge and experience related to the application of Service-Oriented Architecture (SOA) in development and integration of software systems (development of NASA Space Systems software preferred),
Familiarization with the following: Eclipse, StateRover tool, Rational Rose, RequisitePro tools, MKS Integrity tool UML,Use Cases, Activity Diagrams, Class Diagrams, State Charts/State Machine Diagrams, Sequence Diagrams, Communication Diagrams and DOORS.
