Job Description 

GEICO Entry-Level Customer Service Agent

We are currently seeking professional and enthusiastic Customer Service Representatives who are able to work day or evening shifts.  Opportunities are available in our Regional Customer Service Department and our Military Customer Service Department.

You will receive fully paid training and we will sponsor you for your Insurance License!

Job Duties and Responsibilities (Underwriting/Service Department):

  • Commitment to provide outstanding customer service to our Policyholders
  • Assist our Policyholders with their auto policies
  • Resolve all Policyholder’s requests and concerns in a efficient and upbeat manner
  • Educate our Policyholders on their insurance coverage
  • An understanding and commitment to first –call resolution

Our office is located in Corporate Landing Business Park in at 1345 Perimeter Parkway Virginia Beach, VA 23454. This is an exciting area to work in with great shopping and restaurants nearby.

 

Salary offer will be increased by $1,000 for candidates who already hold an active P&C or Personal Lines Insurance License!

Job Requirements 

Minimum Requirements of a Customer Service Representative:


  • High School Diploma/General Education Diploma (GED)
  • Customer Service experience or Customer Contact (prefer 1 year or more with the same company)
  • Excellent computer skills
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Must be comfortable working in a call center environment
