Quality Assurance Coordinator

Quality Assurance Coordinator needed in Port Allen, LA! This position will be responsible for directly supporting the department supervisor by coordinating activities associated with establishing, monitoring, and correcting/improving the systems necessary for ensuring product quality and regulatory compliance. The main focus/ purpose of this position is to provide advanced competence in quality assurance design and review; ongoing internal audits and surveillances; vendor audits; trend analysis; statistics process control; and other activities intended to achieve optimum quality systems. The Quality Assurance Coordinator will effectively coordinate and conduct assigned activities of the QA Department.

This position will work the 2nd shift -3pm to 11:30pm! Excellent benefits package offered!

Education Requirements: Bachelor’s degree strongly preferred.

Experience: 2 years experience in a regulated environment (preferably a cGMP-regulated environment).

Additional Requirements: Must be proficient in Microsoft Word and Excel; Access is a huge plus! Candidate must be highly detail oriented, organized, and have excellent communication skills.

Type Of Position: Temp to Hire

Salary: Up to $18.00 per hour.
