Job Description 


 THIS IS A TEMPORARY ONE MONTH ASSIGNMENT WORKING 24 HOURS PER WEEK.

Mountain Park Health Center works with the communities that it serves to sustain and improve health by providing affordable primary care.  We are a federally qualified community health center with 5 clinical locations throughout the valley.

The primary duty during this assignment is to coordinate the financial and authorization sections of the treatment plans for patients in the dental department. 
1.  All charge tickets are entered into the system and batches closed no later than 3 business day from the last work day of the month.
2.  The percentage of rejected paper claims on a daily basis does not exceed 10%.
3.  The rejected claims are resubmitted accurately within one business day.
4.  Balances all batches within 1-2 business days from the start of the batch.
5.  Monthly reports are submitted to the dental manager outlining payor groups and estimated patient financial responsibility for all dental services rendered.  
6.  Responsible for running all month end productivity and closing report and giving them to the dental manager.
7.  Complete the assigned batch within 1-2 business days of the start of the batch.
 


Job Requirements 

1)    High School diploma.
2)    2 years of billing experience in a dental office.
