WE CURRENTLY HAVE THE FOLLOWING OPENING:
WORK COMP NURSE CASE MANAGER
Workers Comp Insurance company in San Diego area has an immediate need for a Nurse Case Manager. Will be responsible for the analysis and management of medical issues and treatment in workers' compensation claims. Will be working closely with a Work Comp Examiner to manage medical throughout the life of the claim. Coordinates ancillary services, maintains professional client relationships, will handle utilization review, and medical & disability management.
Requirements
*Qualified candidate must have 5+ years medical case management experience and in-depth knowledge of appropriate medical principles.
*Job requires understanding of workers' comp laws and ICD-9 and CPT codes.
*Must have strong written, verbal, organizational and negotiation skills.
*CCM designation required - Certified Case Manager.
