Military Recruiter – Recruiting

Main Responsibilities:

•  Provide initial screening questionnaires/applications to applicants

• Input applicants’ data into various databases

• Conduct follow-up contacts with applicants’ accepted for DoD selection boards

• Present pre-designed briefings 

• Estimated travel is 30 trips / year, 1-5 days in length

• DoD will provide GSA vehicles for contractor use for the conduct of official business

• Associate’s Degree or 60 hours of college credit, Bachelors degree preferred

•  3 years of CURRENT (within the past 5 years) military recruiting experience

• Graduate of DoD Recruiting School

• SECRET clearance status ( current of ability to activate via NACLC)

• Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals

• Ability to effectively present information in one-on-one and small group situations, to customers, clients and other employees

• Ability to solve practical problems and deal with a variety of concrete variables in situation where only limited standardization exists

•  Ability to interpret a variety of instructions furnished in writing, oral, diagram, or schedule from

• Word Processor software, Spreadsheet software, Database software skills
