Hyperion Planning Expert

Position Overview:                    Position in Minnesota

Partner with Cognos, an IBM Company, Hyperion, an Oracle Company and Microsoft to offer enterprise performance planning and business intelligence software to aide in budgeting, forecasting, and overall business performance management.

Responsibilities:

· Develop project plans and provide project management leadership.

· Participate in the design and/or development of the Hyperion Planning System.

· Work with the finance department to build financial model(s).

· Identify the interfaces with existing G/L, ERP, and other source systems.

· Train the financial team on the use of the system.

· Provide the appropriate user and technical documentation.

· Assist with sales opportunities by building “proof of concept" solutions.

Qualifications:

· Bachelor’s degree, preferably in MIS, Accounting and/or Finance. MBA and CPA are a plus.

· 3-5 years experience as a consultant, system engineer or in a finance department.

· Proven leadership and communication skills with the ability to work effectively in a team environment.

· Working knowledge of Microsoft Office Systems, G/L, ERP, SQL and OLAP systems.

· Experience with Hyperion Systems 9.x Planning, Web Analysis and Financial Reports.

· Skills with Essbase Development, FDM/Upstream and other related Hyperion products, a plus.
