Security Administrator, Network Security

Job Summary

As the Security Administrator you will formalize and maintain our information security platform from both a technical and process perspective and act as the principal IT security contact for the company.

• Administer the Network security environment, including the following: 
  • Monitor, analyze, document and resolve security breaches and vulnerability issues in a timely and accurate manner
  • Maintain and monitor IPS and IDS server and firewall logs and maintain IPS/IDS definitions
  • Maintain and update CISCO Mars
  • Review all security logs and notify management of any security breaches immediately
  • Monitor and maintain all Cisco switches, routers and firewalls
  • Review IOS versions and keep them up-to-date
  • Document any approved changes to configuration and/or access-lists
• Ensure our Security policies are in place and current and serve as a network security point of contact.
  • Assist with development and maintenance of security policies related to network systems
  • Help build basis for a standard ComPsych RFP security response for network area
  • Develop processes for network devices deployment standards and assist in formulation of policies in relation to network security
• Administer the Desktop security environment, including the following:
  • Update and maintain the Symantec Antivirus server ensuring that server software as well as client software is the newest version available on the market. 
  • Stay abreast of any Antivirus software vulnerabilities and work with Symantec to obtain appropriate patches/hot fixes, etc. 
  • Review and report any equipment infections to management and take immediate action to resolve the issue
  • Stay on top of any virus warnings issued by trusted sources 
  • Review for validity and document any warning submitted by ComPsych's employees.
