Position Information:
- The Sr. Financial Analyst will provide expertise and actionable financial guidance to the G&A areas of FedEx Services (Human Resources, Accounting, Audit, Tax, Communications, Finance, Corporate Initiatives, SDRA, and Quality).
- The position will support cross-functional projects and teams by identifying benefits and costs and will be responsible for supplying reporting, budgeting, and forecasting analysis to management. FedEx Services Finance positions make a significant impact on the profitability of the Corporation by providing finance matrix support to various functional areas of the Company.
- The Sr. Financial Analyst will act as the primary point of contact for finance related items, financial analysis, financial consulting, budgeting, capital request analysis, and expense and capital forecasting.

Preferred Skills
- Extensive financial modeling, experience using NPV and MIRR calculations, and other financial analysis tools preferred. MBA and/or CPA preferred. CFA is a plus.
- Self-starter with ability to handle multiple projects in various stages.
- Able to develop an approach to financial analysis with an end result of well thought out, fact based recommendations.
- Experience with MS Excel, PowerPoint and Word is required.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree/equivalent preferably in business, finance or related discipline.
- MBA or professional designation preferred.
- Five (5) years direct experience in financial analysis, financial planning, business consulting, project management, accounting, audit or operational analysis.
- Knowledge of advanced personal computer applications.
- Strong analytical, human relations and communication skills.
