Description A dynamic and growing company who is a leading provider of technology solutions worldwide is looking for a Senior Cost Accountant. The company is located in Irving, TX.

This is a position that requires a strong manufacturing background in a standard cost environment.

Senior Cost Accountant

Duties include:

Developing, updating and maintaining standard costs in SAP
Preparation of month-end closing entries
Account reconciliation

Forecasting, budgeting, cost reporting and analysis

Inventory reporting and analysis

Tracking business metrics

Providing analytical support to management

Requirements
Senior Cost Accountant

Requirements:

Candidate must have a Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting or Finance and 2-5 years of cost accounting in a manufacturing environment.
Candidate should possess strong skills in EXCEL, ACCESS and POWERPOINT. Strong SAP experience is a plus.
Position requires a strong team player with excellent written and verbal communication skills who will work closely with manufacturing, purchasing, engineering, other division accounting personnel and management.
Candidate must have excellent organizational and analytical skills and work with minimal supervision.
