Description The Grain Superintendent will supervise all day to day activities of elevator at the facility. This includes loading, unloading, sampling, grading, transferring, blending, drying, storage, aeration and fumigation of grain. Maintain a safe, sanitary workplace in compliance with company policies and regulatory agencies (OSHA, EPA, DNR, DOT, etc). Will be responsible to train and supervise hourly employees in operations and maintaining facility. Establish and maintain appropriate preventative maintenance and sanitation schedules.
Requirements

Requirements:

 

  • College degree, or equivalent supervisory experience.
  • Preferred grain handling and grading experience.
  • Basic computer skills.
  • Self motivated and mechanically inclined to operate, troubleshoot, repair and maintain equipment.
  • Position requires walking, standing, climbing stairs and ladders, working in extreme temperature conditions, and extended seasonal hours.
