SOFTWARE SYSTEMS ENGINEER

Description TYBRIN'S Engineering and Test Group provides engineering support services and scientific computer software expertise in the integration of weapons systems, real-time and simulation networks for test and evaluations, telemetry (data acquisition) systems, post test applications, decision support systems, command and control, and mission planning systems software development testing.


TYBRIN Corporation is seeking a Software Developer for the Patriot Excalibur (PEX), a squadron automation toolset. The ideal candidate will work in an Agile/XP Microsoft environment with focus on test driven development, utilizing Pair Programming, and will assist in designing and implementing a presentation layer in a Service Oriented Architecture. The primary focus will be on designing web-enabled Graphical User Interfaces based on dynamic requirements. Candidate will coordinate with Subject Matter Experts (on team), persistence layer developers, and users in the field as required. The successful candidate will have good organizational skills, good communication skills (both verbal and written), excellent problem solving/analytical skills, must be able to multi-task, follow procedures, and learn quickly.

Requirements Education Desired/Required:

• A Bachelor's degree in Computer Science/Math/Engineering areas is required.

Experience Required:

• 3 years of specific experience and 5 years of general work experience
• Experience with OOP, C#, ASP.NET, JavaScript, .NET Framework and Visual Studio is required.
• Knowledge of design patterns, software development lifecycle, XP/Agile development Methodology, AJAX is desired.
• Experience in C++, TFS, SOA , Silverlight would be a plus.
