Compensation: $90000 to $110000 per year

**Growing Progressive Public Accounting Firm in Southeastern, MA has partnered with Robert Half to assist in their search for a Tax Manager*** This position is open due to succession planning and retirement.

Opportunity: Tax Manager will report directly to Principals. Position is responsible for providing tax research, compliance services and overall engagement management services to assigned client base. Ability to work independently, oversee challenging assignments, manage complex client base, and train and develop staff and senior tax accountants.

Requirements:

Minimum 8 years public accounting experience.
Ability to review complex tax compliance engagements.
Technical writing skills to report findings and to communicate with firm members, clients, and federal and state agencies.
Ability to reach solutions and make decisions.
Articulate and approachable communication style to interact directly with clients, controllers, CFO's, Board of Directors, and firm personnel.
Intermediate level experience with Excel, power point, internet research engines, and ProFX.
Ability to provide training to staff and senior tax accountants.
Some public speaking required for in-house seminars.

Education Requirements:

BS Accounting
MST or MST Candidate
CPA preferred
