Accounting Tax Coordinator – Tax Projects & Audits
HLP Solutions has partnered with the leader in the Oil and Gas Industry. This client is a Oil and Gas Leader in thier Industry and they have partnered with us to find someone that can hit the ground running. The ideal candidate will have Oil and Gas Company experience with a history of working with Tax provision SFAS 109.
Duties may include, but are not limited to the following:
-Coordinate, direct, and review the work of two staff members on a daily basis.
-Coordinate the preparation of and review the quarterly income tax provision under SFAS 109
-Review and analyze complex accounting data on a monthly and quarterly basis.
-Review income tax projections on a quarterly and ad-hoc basis; coordinate and review responses to information requests for IRS audit and state tax audits.
-Analyze the tax impact of various transactions and tax planning strategies
-Coordinate various special projects and provide analysis and support for special projects
-Gather information and prepare reports for upper management.
The successful candidate will be a CPA with supervisory tax experience from a CPA firm and/or oil and gas company and will have a working knowledge of SFAS 109.
