They are responsible for the general ledger information including compilation of reports summarizing statistics. They provide employee wages calculations and prepare checks for payment of wages. They calculate withholding, Social Security, and other tax reports as well. In addition, they also mail monthly statements to customers. There may be other Duties as well.
