Job Description:
Now Hiring Part Time Sales Associates for our new location opening Fall 2008 at The Galleria at Roseville! H&M Sales Associates provide a complete shopping experience for H&M customers, including product knowledge, customer service, merchandising, routines and maintenance. To be considered for this position, you must meet the following job requirements: - Open Availability Saturday & Sunday (7am-11pm)
- At least 18 years of age or older
- Prior experience in retail preferred
- Fast-paced
- Excellent customer service skills
- Strong communication skills
Below, find an overview of the job responsiblities for this position: Works according to H&M values
Provides excellent customer service according to H&M standards
Actively gives the customer attention throughout the store: on the selling floor, in the fitting rooms and on the registers
Unloads truck and receives, opens and unpacks merchandise
Labels merchandise with security tags
Keeps the stockroom organized, neat and clean
Stocks and replenishes the selling floor and examines merchandise to identify items to be replenished
Stays familiar with products, concepts and merchandise information
Actively works with garments, including the commercial presentation by re-folding, hanging or displaying the merchandise according to H&M guidelines, to maximize selling opportunities
Keeps the selling area, registers , fitting rooms and stock area clean and well maintained
Has knowledge about our store standards and works according to these
Provides excellent garment care
Stays informed of advertising campaigns, promotions and sales activities in order to give good customer service
Has knowledge about our display guidelines and visual standards
Rings on the register, reports and handles all required transactions, issues the receipts and packs merchandise in a proper and fast manner
Has knowledge about our return policy
Answers phone courteously and promptly
Stays familiar with how to execute price changes, transfers and cash register routines
Addresses loss prevention issues that may occur, following H&M guidelines
Assists in training new sales associates
Stays familiar with internal policies and programs contained in the H&M Employee Handbook
Uses teamwork to assist all employees in providing customer service and maintaining store standards in all departments
Communicates effectively and professionally with all team members within the store
