The Advocate in Newark, Ohio, has an immediate opening for a part-time Packager, working 30-39 hours per week, in the Production department.  This position is responsible for performing basic distribution functions in the Packaging department that include loading of insert hoppers, stacking, bagging/processing of mail for both core and commercial products. 

1.      Prepare and properly load inserts in inserter.                             

2.      Properly stack product onto appropriate skid.                            

3.      Strapping of final product and preparation of skid for final shipment.                 

4.      Shake down packs and stitch & trim product.                                        

5.      Preparation of daily bundle tops.                                                                         

6.      Bagging of product for shipment to US Post Office.                                              

7.      USA Today preparation of top sheets, roll/break down Blue Chip.                    

8.   Perform count for distribution.
