OH Licensed PARAMEDICS needed IMMEDIATELY!
Hiring for FT / PT / and On-Call positions.
All shifts are available!

Paramedics in this position must be confident leaders who can accept challenges and a high degree of responsibility. The Paramedic must have excellent judgement, the ability to prioritize, and do what is in the best interest of the patient. The Paramedic must be self -disciplined, and possess the ability to function independently in a constantly changing environment. This individual will remain calm while working in sometimes difficult and stressful situations, and must be capable of remaining focused and carrying out the responsibilities in these situations.
The Paramedic will be part of a team, and must have the ability to get along well with others for extended periods of time. The Paramedic is held responsible for the actions of the team, and must be familiar with protocols, and policies and procedures.
The Paramedic must have a thorough knowledge of medications. This individual must use the correct precautions and techniques in documentation, administering, and storage of all drugs. Thorough drug histories will be the Paramedic's responsibility to obtain from patients.
The Paramedic will be responsible for providing Advanced Life Support (ALS) at times, included in this could be interpretation of EKG's, electrical interventions to support the cardiac functions, performing advanced intubation in airway management, and administering IV fluids and drugs under the direction of off-site physicians. Vent experience is a plus.
The Paramedic will be responsible for transporting emergency and non-emergency patients to various healthcare facilities within the Greater Cincinnati Area. The person in this position will encounter patients with varying levels of illness, and conditions, and MUST be able to handle all patients with respect.
Lifting and assisting patients with movement is a requirement, flexibility of schedule is required as well.
Excellent, oral and written communications will be used. Paramedics will communicate with dispatch via phone and radio. Previous experience with this is a plus. Written reports are required for every run.
