Sr. Principal Engineer

Sr. Principal Engineer position is currently open. You will actively seek out technologies and methodologies to expand the product offerings or improve existing products. You will also engage with university and industry experts. Specific duties include:

• Creating product and project ideas.
• Plan, lead, and conduct research assignments, normally involving several smaller projects or one major project.
• Design and develop new products, materials, or processes to prove concept and applicability of new technologies.
• Drive activities throughout the cross-functional project team throughout all stages of the overall project in order to meet completion dates.
• Make changes in methods, designs or equipment where necessary to meet project requirements.
• Build experimental apparatus, instrumentation or systems of considerable complexity. 
• Perform non-routine research and advanced development tasks involving analysis, simulation, calculation, and testing of considerable complexity and variety.
• Evaluate customers', competitors', and company products to investigate new designs and applies this insight to new product design.
• Create technical reports suitable for customer or public distribution.

• MS/MA required
• Minimum of 5 years experience in Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Physics or equivalent technical field
• Must have experience of computer skills that include physical and mathematical analysis and simulation (Mathematica or MATLAB), programming, spreadsheets, statistical analysis, and graphical presentations
• Must have knowledge of 3D CAD and mathematical or engineering analysis tools
• Excellent verbal, written communication and public speaking skills mandatory
• Occasionaly overseas travel
