Sr. WebSphere/AIX Administrator position is currently available. Only local candidates will be considered. You will have the responsibility of managing WebSphere installations, modifications, performance management and configuration. You will also act as code and build manager for WebSphere applications. You will manager interactions with members from internal and vendor organizations, investigate and resolve application hosting issues, and develop application and operational processes needed to model, integrate, automate, and manage efficient, flexible business processes. Requirements
Sr. WebSphere/AIX Administrator
The ideal candidate will have the following skills:
- 5+ years solid WebSphere System Management & Architecture experience managing 24/7 applications
- In-depth experience with WebSphere 6.1 ND
- Fluent with AIX, familiar with Unix, Linux, Solaris or other Unix type operating systems
- Advanced experience analyzing & implementing procedures to improve system & application efficiency
- Ability to automate manual procedures utilizing shell scripting, JACL & Jython
- Bachelor's degree required
- WebSphere 6.1 certification preferred
