.Net Software Engineer

• Serves as a technical resource with significant exposure to users and interfaces with all levels of management and external vendors.  
• Responsible for development and maintenance of business applications by performing full life cycle software development.
• Ensures quality assurance methods and practices are followed in assigned projects via design review and review of junior team member’s work.
• Gathers and documents detailed user requirements, translates the requirements into system design specifications, and develops the application software.
• Researches, evaluates and recommends new application development tools to the management team.  Assists in developing and enforcing software development methodologies and standards.

• Degree in Computer Science, Information Systems or related fields .
• Proficient in development tools such as .NET Framework, C#, ASP.NET, VB.NET, ADO.net, XML Web Services, MS SQL Server, Microsoft IIS, and a solid knowledge of object-oriented concepts.
• Knowledge of Microsoft Enterprise Library / Microsoft Application Blocks / Agile Development methodology / Content Management Systems a plus.
• Ability to work independently with minimum supervision or work in a team-oriented project.
• Ability to manage multiple projects and tasks simultaneously in a high-pressure environment.
• Excellent oral and written communications skills.
• Strong analytical and organizational skills.
• Attention to detail.
