Medical Assistant Lead Instructor


 

 


Responsibilities:


 



  • Maintain a full time teaching load of between 28-30 hours
  • Plan course instruction based upon approved syllabus/outline provided to assure that course content and objectives are met.
  • Utilize a variety of teaching styles and methods to accommodate student’s learning styles.
  • Design, administer and grade examinations to assess achievement of the course objectives as identified in the syllabus.
  • Be available to advise students (office hours), tutor and provide other assistance as needed.
  • Work with the Program Director to resolve student concerns.
  • Actively work to maintain retention in all classes.
  • Attend regularly scheduled program meetings, faculty in-service workshops and faculty meetings.

  • Must have certification and post-secondary training in discipline and minimum 3 years of recent, practical experience.
  • Bachelor’s degree is preferred and the undergraduate degree must include a minimum of 18 semester credits in the discipline.
